1993: ISO 9001 Registration

ISO 9000 is a series of quality system standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization based in Switzerland. These standards give consumers around the world an apples-to-apples comparison of various manufacturers' quality systems.

In 1993, Miller passed its ISO audit and became the first domestic welding equipment manufacturer to be registered to ISO 9001, the most comprehensive of the ISO standards.
